About the Role:
Ellie Georgetown is looking for a LICSW therapist, who is also interested in being part of leadership and provide supervision. This position is flexible remote, meaning some in person and some through Telehealth. Join a mission driven team of innovative minds as we expand here in DC and the Mid-Atlantic region with independent thinkers looking to leave their mark. Keep your current position and start as a part-time therapist with afternoon and evening hours. Then transition into a full-time position once your caseload is full. This gives us both an opportunity to get to know each other and make sure this is a good fit! Or we can start you as a full-time therapist as well. We are flexible and work with you!
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a caseload of 20-25 client sessions per week
- Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create and implement treatment plans, and complete ongoing documentation including additional diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy
- Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
- Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
- Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
- Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and training
- Provide weekly supervision to graduate level therapists
Requirements:
- Candidates are required to have a master’s degree in social work or one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university
- Required to be a licensed mental health professional in the District of Columbia
- Required experience with completing DAs, treatment plans, and clinical case notes
- Prefer candidates with creative and innovative approaches to mental health
- Prefer experience with children, adolescents, teens, couples, and families
- Ideal candidates will have a general knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing

- This position will be under the general direction of the Clinical Director.

- Innovative thinking and technologies in our state of the art practice
- Credentialing under our group contract within 30 to 45 days
- Ability to provide different types of therapy (individual, group, play)
- On top of your base rate as a clinician, you will receive 20% of the graduate level therapists' rate, for every individual supervision hour you engage in
- Additionally, full-time clinicians receive a administrative rate on top of their clinical hour rate
